Every good club has a method of communicating with it's members, and those interested in becoming members. One good way is to form a 'list' and sign up as many members as possible, who receive the 'list mail'. The 'list' for the Happy Hour Club is provided by Yahoo Groups.
If you are interested in joining in on the open conversation, just want to know when the next meeting or recon is going to take place, or want to discuss a better way to pay for the bill at the end of the night, joining the 'list' is the thing to do.
When you click on the link at the bottom of this page, you'll be sent to the Yahoo Groups page for the happyhourtribe list. In order to join the list, click on the 'join this group' link you'll find at that page. Only by registering on Yahoo, can you join the 'list'. It's pretty simple:
That's all there is to it! Yahoo is pretty good about limiting any SPAM you may get, so don't worry about that. Once you have been approved for the list by the moderator, you can either enter messages from your email client (i.e. Outlook Express, Eudora), or you can POST messages from within the Yahoo web based email page.
